Hotels in Belgium

If you are planning a visit to Belgium then with Apollo Hotels & Resorts, you have come to the right place. We have two unique hotels in Bruges and Ostend. Thermae Palace Oostende lies right on the coast of Ostend and has a breathtaking view out over the sea. Apollo Arthotel Brugge is located in one of the most characteristic cities of Europe and the hotel provides the perfect base for discovering all this city has to offer.

  • Bruges

Bruges is also referred to as the Venice of the North. Since 2000, Bruges has been listed on UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites. In between the picturesque little lanes, you may get the feeling that you have gone back in time to the Middle Ages.

Bruges has a diverse range of museums which provide an impressive overview of the city’s history. Why not visit the well known Diamond museum, the Bruggemuseum or the Choco-Story chocolate museum?

One of the real eye-catchers in the city is Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk, a church that stretches to 122 metres high and, as such, is the highest brick-built building in the world.

You can find quaint shops on the Eiermarkt and the Huidenvettersplein. And, of course, Bruges is also known for its atmospheric pubs, exuberant restaurants and the many chocolate shops.

  • Ostend

On the coast of the province of West-Vlaanderen, you will find the stunning city of Ostend. Quite apart from its amazing beach, Ostend also offers a wide range of other attractions. Shop on the Kapellestraat in the city centre in the innumerable stores and take your time to enjoy the special ‘Ostend’ atmosphere. The Adolf Buylstraat is also an absolute ‘must’ with its many clothing and shoe shops.

In the Wapenplein, the Visserskaai and the Albert I Promenade, you will find a plethora of cosy little restaurants and brasseries where you can sit back and enjoy both simple and refined dining experiences.

The Ostend nightlife can be found in the Langestraat which provides a variety of cafés/bars for both young and old.
